ACFEX Broker-Back Office System

ACFEX Broker is the back office system that is provided to ACFEX members who do not have their own enterprise-trading platform. It allows for cross border trades of multiple assets as well as currencies

ACFEX Broker is a powerful back office system with over 1000 customizable options, hierarchical structures for users, instruments and revenue plan as well as risk management tools.

The back office also offers adaptability to changing trading realities by offering a real time monitoring management tool that gives access to present and historical data. The key features of the broker back office system are discussed below:

User/Account operations management

The back office system uses a rule-based management system defined by the administrator. It gives full control of client accounts, balances, trading, deposits, withdrawals, etc to its users. Access of the system can be extended to clearing members, brokers and other users who can operate for clients from different locations. The administrator will be responsible for managing the different users and their access control for the location.

Instruments Management

The back office provides detailed management tools for pip values, Lot sizes, swaps points, margin types and levels, currencies and many more. Instruments can be grouped together for easy management.

Fund Management

This functionality allows the administrator to manually perform various operations that include; deposits, withdrawals, commission, swaps, etc.

Reports

There are about 20 standard types of reports available. They can be viewed in a single account or as a group. The reports cover all activities that occur in the trading platform. Custom reports can also be generated from the customizer within the system. The reports generated can be grouped by the type of transaction, by strategy, date etc. Examples of reports generated include settlement reports, P&L reports, risk reports, cash flow reports amongst others.

Router Management

Acfex trader uses smart router, which will help maintain connections with multiple liquidity pools as well as executions simultaneously. Client orders can be routed to various destinations like multilateral trading facilities, ECNs, brokers, exchanges, market makers and banks that gives access to various liquidity providers while building a connectivity with various markets. The smart router compares incoming data, chooses the best price and then re-configures the data within the order management system.

Liquidity Management

Acfex back office provides its clients with direct access to the most efficient liquidity providers, which ensure superior execution of all trades. Each liquidity provider routes can be created and supported according to their needs. There is also a capability of trading on margin, which helps our clients gain competitive margin rates and terms.

Risk Management

The risk management part of the back office helps set different risk limitatations for users and user groups by reviewing portfolios positions, analyzing price movements and analyzing portfolio exposure to current conditions. This helps protect against large losses. The back office provides scenario analysis as well as value at risk management tools, which helps the administrator maintain effective management. Acfex back office also offers validation of orders as well as post execution risk management.

Desktop

It offers real time market data that highly depends on client’s needs. The desktop provides a variety of technical and web based tools as well as historical information to accommodate and allow for convenient trading on different markets. The desktop is developed as a .NET online software.

Technical Analysis

There are a number of drawing tools and over 60 indicators that make it easy to forecast future financial price movements based on the examination of past price movements. Through our chart analysis, the user is able to identify the overall trend, momentum, and relative strength of assets amongst other things. The platform allows for the importing and editing of indicators into excel and use drawing tools to analyze price charts as well as data. The user can use the drawing tools to draw various shapes like rectangles, triangles, ellipses, trend channels, vertical and horizontal lines, Fibonacci arcs etc.

Available trading tools include basket trading, option chain, matrix, time and scale amongst others.

Automated Trading Strategies
