ACFEX is the only Pan-African exchange to offer derivative trading in Agriculture, metal, energy, power and other OTC products specifically geared towards the continent. The exchange offers the broadest range in futures and options trading around the world. It is the only exchange in the world that will offer multi-currency trading for all its products. Products can be quoted in multiple currencies within ACFEX ecosystem.
ACFEX will provide bench mark pricing for produce and help small scale farmers across the continent hedge against risks associated with farming. It will also facilitate post-harvest financing through ACFEX EWR (Electronic Warehouse Receipt).
The exchange will provide multi-currency harmonised clearing through ACFEX clear. These removes counter party risk and improves cross border and regional trade across the continent. It will enable traders to trade across borders using their native currencies.
